The title "Cairde Cavort" evokes the spirit of friendship and musical camaraderie in this album. The songs will take you on a wild Irish journey of hooch-hiding, lover-leaving, drum-thumping romantic indecisiveness. Since 2015 Tami Curtis has been leading her Cavorters throughout the Pacific Northwest, entertaining folks with the band's fiddle, flute, bodhran and guitar. Embracing traditional instrumentals and weaving them into songs, Cavort carries on the legacy of Celtic music. Listeners will hear cello and bass on "Cairde Cavort", as well as several original compositions that broadcasts the spirit of our musical inheritance.
